   Wasn't Norton Frazier's sparring partner for awhile. He might not have liked all the bull frap Ali was putting out about Joe.

   Perhaps but there seemed to be no issue between Ali and Norton before their third fight which was after Ali's final fight with Frazier.

   I don't think it was actual dislike in the mold of say Hagler vs Leonard or Pazienza vs Haugen . It seemed to be more hype and mind games then anything

   I wouldn't say it was hype as that would be before the fight.
   
   It could be mind games on Norton's part although his animosity seemed pretty real and Ali looked genuinely annoyed by whatever Norton said at the end of round 11.
