Wasn't it called the Walker Law? It made prizefighting legal in the state...they had to have doctors at ringside...etc.
yes, the walker law was passed in 1920 but there are three articles you can pull up at the new york times that clearly talk about the nysac. the first being in 1911. one article even talks about a boxing promoter trying to get approval from the commission.
