When did you fear for a boxers health, but he turned out to win or do good?

    I have to say that when Peter fought Toney for the first time, i was seriously worried about Toney's health. He's a warrior that would never quit, but Peter just looked like a beast with heavy fists and he nearly put Williams in a coma with one punch. Williams was a small heavyweight/cruiserweight, but Toney was a natural lightweight and very fat. I didn't expect the fight to go 6 rounds.

    Turned out that although Toney was rocked several times, he took it all and gave plenty in return, making for a close fight. In hindsight, the fight did seem to ruin Toney though.

    the most recent one was casamayor - katsidis
    i thought if casa was past it and not looked good in ihs last fight he would eat alot of shots and just get minced up.


    i saw what katsidis did to earl and it was scary how earl took those shots.

    so i thought there would be too much pressure and way too punches for casa to counter.

    and we were surprised

    DLH against Hopkins. After watching how Sturm was able to overpower DLH and Sturm being a featerfisted MW smaller than Hopkins and also after seeing what Hopkins did to Joppy I feared for DLH but the fight was a chess match with DLH being competitive thru 9 rounds.
