What point in Pacquiao's career did you think, "If Mayweather and Pacquiao fought some day, Pacquiao would probably win"?

    EDIT: Added poll

When he stopped hatton and cotto and mayweather started to get affraid of him.
Why would he be scared if he has every advantage going in the fight? has he no faith in his own abilities? or does he see something that he knows cause big problems for him?
Im not sure anymore though since pac seems to be slowing down.

I never thought Pacquiao would win. But the point where I thought Pacquiao would give him his closest fight, was after the Margarito win. The version that turned up that night, is the best I've seen so far I think.

The Clottey fight showed me that Pacquiao has the greatest chance of beating mayweather. He threw more than 1000 punches and didnt tire at all. That solified it in my mind.

For a bit when he beat Cotto, since then I changed my mind again. I think Mayweather beats him.

Whoops, sorry about the poll options. Should have included Lebdwa for the really hardcore fans too. ;)

For me it was the Hatton fight that sealed the deal -- he moved up in weight and still had 1 punch KO power.

    GTFO!
Margarito threw over 1600 punches but still gets his ass beat. Volume dont mean he can get through a good defense.
Pacquiao fight offensive fighters and wins because he is just better. But him up with a guy that can take away most of his punches and then deliver his own ?

That's excatly how I see the fight playing out, like a faster paced action version of Calzaghe Hopkins.

I thought the fight was 50/50 after the Cotto fight. Pacquiao showed great timing, agility, speed, strength, basically the whole shabang.

But after the Mosley fight, Im leaning heavily towards Mayweather. Pac did not look good. Great power, and speed, but his footwork was horrible, and he missed alot of punches against a guy not known for his defense.

I never did.. But if I had to choose, it'll be the cotto fight. Speed and power at its finest.

Don't understand how people would vote for Clottey or Margo. Both have no lateral movements and both block with face or shell up (see. 1000 punches).

We are talking about today's best defensive boxer (Floyd) here. See the Mosley fight how pac was disoriented with movements. Couldn't land efficiently. Now add that with Floyd's accuracy, reflex, and speed.. Well, you get the jiss

Ive always said the Pacquiao that fought Cotto back in 09 would have a good chance of beating Floyd .
