When do we get results of purse bids?

    Presumably its very soon. I'm suitably buzzing for Degale-Groves to find out it's not going to happen.:D

    its me. news will filter out before the day is over.

    I get the feeling Warren hasn't won the DeGale vs Groves bid...or someone has pulled out as when Warren wins he usually gets the press release out very quickly.

    Stephen Smith says he will post on his fb page as soon as he hears anything and he mentioned that about an hour ago

    all bids will needed to have been recieve by midday today for Groves vs DeGale, Smith vs Simpson.

    I was thinking that myself unless double AA promotions comes in for it ;) I dont see how the bidding process is really anything but a formality

    Well i assume that Warren has certain deals already in place with Smith and Simpson and i think it is unlikely anybody else would come in for it so he can manipulate the puse bid pretty much anyway he wants to. I think it was Bellew who said purse bids like this can often be smoke and mirrors.

    If head had a deal why would Smith be waiting to hear whats going on. The deal would be done?
