When do you reckon Cotto v Margarito will be finalised ?

I read somewhere that arum is wanting to make this fight around march time frame.

 

No it won't be March as Margo may need a little bit longer to let his face heal + training camp.

May or June fight date likely.

Who cares? Cotto should fight Erislandy Lara, Saul Alvarez, Alfredo Angulo, Paul Williams or hopefully a fight with James Kirkland, if 154 is where he wants to campaign at these are the type of fights i want to see him in, even go back to 147 and face Berto.

I'm sick of rematches, especially when it wasn't even close, i mean Cotto was stopped by Margarito it's not like it was a split decision in a close fight, well i'm sure it was close to some but not to me, bring on some young new blood, **** this top rank ****.

 

It's gonna happen the weekend of that big ass Puerto Rican celebration in NYC. I hope so. I'm buying ringside for this fight because I've never been ringside for any fights. I'm also gonna try to go ringside for Pac's next fight.

Normally I wouldn't be demanding a rematch - especially if one fighter had looked terrible in his previous three fights....however due to the suspicions over the illegal handwraps I think Cotto is within his right to find out once and for all if Margarito loaded his gloves in the first fight or not.
