I don't drink so I don't have a problem with when I stop its all these other twats that do drink seem to want to fight me so im guessing they drink right up till they throw the first punch
Haven't competed yet but I probably wouldn't drink at a bare minimum, 4 weeks out from the fight. It just messes with my balance and mind-muscle connectivity too much. Makes my punches and dodging sloppier.
dont drink at all. i boxed for almost 2 years didnt touch a drop. its easy not too drink. if i were to get back into it id quit drinking again alltogether. if u take it seriously, beer doesnt enter the mind lol.
Agreed. For the most part, I don't drink at all but in a 'drinking scenario' that was what my suggestion would of been. Good to hear other fighters abstain(like I would expect) cause everyone I train with, besides the coach, drinks.
Drinking is not Healthy for a Competing Boxer it Decreases your Performance eventually it might catch up to you.
Drinking is like 4th on the list. 1. Cannabis 2. PCP 3. Cocaine 4. Drinking. First and second will benefit your boxing, third may or may not, fourth can only hurt you.
