Hopefully on the Mccloskey card in May, I hope they give him a better opponent than he had last night though.

  5. There's potential for a double header, Quigg vs Munroe and Frampton vs Martinez.

The only pitfall is if they both lose, we might see Munroe vs Martinez III, which would be a repeat of the first two showings most probably.

I worry for Quigg now he's working with Gallagher, just seems to get hit much more (granted against better fighters) and doesn't put as much meat on his shots as he seemingly once did, especially to the body, meanwhile Frampton seems to be progressing nicely.

He made a few mistakes last night but nothing I'd focus on too much, it's an easy thing to do when you're sure you've got your opponents measure and are safe in the knowledge that he's not going to produce a Julian Jackson thunderbolt and put you into next week.

The ''double header'' throws up two interesting fights IMO, if Munroe can be arsed he ought to have too much for Quigg, but a repeat of his recent, ''pub drunk could probably take him ten rounds'' type showings and he might well come unstuck.

Frampton ought to be able to handle Kiko, get through the first three rounds and then start to pile up the points en route to a clear decision.

Frampton's post-fight comments were hilarious. And utterly true.

Like Hearn said though, nobody will fight Carlos.

Hopefully they can get Kiko over, maybe on the Froch undercard.

I still think we'll see Quigg - Frampton later on in the year.

Should be Martinez next for him, a fight I think he wins and wins well. I can see Quigg defeating Munroe in a close one.

June in Belfast. No date, no venue.

Most likely Kiko but I'd like to see him in against Belfast-based Willie Casey who seems to be overlooked by Team BrickFists

Most likely yeah, I remember seeing a bit their amateur fight back in 07, and in that fight Frampton gave Willie a hiding and knocked him down. Wouldnt think a bout in the pros would be much different tbh. Still Casey would be by far the best opponent of Carls career, and would be a good lead up to a Martinez fight, because Casey's style is not unlike Kiko's.

Hopefully immediately as in neither of his last 2 fights did he take damage. As long as the Quigg, Kiko or Munroe fight isn't happening he needs to stay active.

If Quigg is fighting Munroe then he should fight Kiko. Should they both win then that fight becomes even bigger as they would both be Euro-contender level and proven at it.
