This might **** you off - especially with my avatar - but Haye!! Mormeck = Paris, Valuev = Germany and we all know you need a ko for a draw in Germany

AND BOTH WORLD TITLE FIGHTS - Now looks like Germany again for the HW title.... not scared to travel

I agree that Haye has no problem travelling.... But

Everytime Haye has travelled for a title fight it has been with everything to gain for him, ie Travelled to face Mormeck champion, travelled to face Valuev champion and is travelling to face #1 man in the division.

Froch, Cunningham, Kessler etc has travelled with nothing to gain and everything to lose

Just to clarify - Im a Froch fan, and appreciate everthing he does - and love him for it, but was just pointing out that Haye as Travelled to face a stern test each time and it looks like he's doing the same again. Froch is a warrior, no questions asked, but to deny Haye the same tag isn't on in my opinion. However if you were to compare anyone against Froch's level of opositioin then few could compare!!!!! The man is teak toudh - and apparently scared of no man!!! :bbb

To me classic road warriors are guys like Brian Mitchell and Eusabio Pedroza, capable beltholders who lacked a static fanbase and the backing of a big promoter/US TV and who were forced to take their belts and defend them usually on the challenger's terms. Used to be a lot of folks like that but not any more, fans are much more friendly to 'foreign' fighters, Pac in the US, Klits in Germany, Bute in Canada.

Not sure everyone in the super six should be considered a road warrior, it is an international competition fighting away is a part of the deal.

Im a Froch and Haye fan, and have always acknowledged that Haye doesnt fear travelling, but in Frochs case, Froch is travelling with his title to lose and nothing to gain (against Taylor, Kessler and next against Johnson), Haye although travelling for big fights is travelling with it all to gain ie against Mormeck his CW title, Valuev his WBA HW title and W Klitschko his #1 status, in all those fights Haye isnt the one travelling with more to lose like Froch was/is, (Kessler and Cunningham etc)

Katsidis has no problem travelling but when has he been the fighter with more to lose? Cant remember but maybe when he fought Mitchell? But against Marquez etc Katsidis had it all to gain
