Ibeabuchi is one of the most overrated fighters of the last 15 years, probably THE most overrated. Fought 18 nobodies, a close decision win against Tua, and knocked out blown up Chris Byrd. He has TWO wins against live bodies - one of them razor close. Doesn't justify the continued hype at ALL.

 

Go to The President's web site. It allows you to email Ibeabuchi. I received an email back (not sure it's really him but what the hell!) and Ike was hoping to be out in 6 months-this was almost 3 years ago. Truthfully, I don't expect him to be out on parole any time soon. He's been deemed mentally unstable. Moreover, as another poster stated he is grossly overweight. Perhaps not 350 lbs, but probably close to 300. Add to that the fact that he's no spring chicken and I think it's safe to say we've seen the last of The President.

 

I heard - not sure if it was here or not - that he is severely unstable and the staff won't even come within his reach unless there are four of them or more present at the time.

 

Imagine being the poor prison guard who has to tell him what to do.

This guy was so overrated, and yet people still show interest in him. He's been locked up forever and when he gets out he wont mean anything

Sure, release a severely unstable man with a propensity towards violence so boxing fans can see him try and clean out the heavyweight division. Then, when he is done and there is no more use for him back to the pen he shall go. :-(

I'd love to see the Ibeabuchi of '99 again - but that fighter is gone forever.

On top of that, he deserves to be locked up for the rest of his life or the next two decades at least. He permanently injured and crippled an 8 year old kid by purposefully driving his car into a concrete pillar (the fact that he got out relatively unharmed himself is a testament to his durability). For some reason he only got 6 months for that. Then he raped and beat up a callgirl for which he is now incarcerated. And there's plenty of other "incidents".


Read any interview of him. The man is bat**** insane and a ticking time bomb if he were to be released.

 

i gaurentee you if one of those gaurds broke a damn gaurd stick over that ****** face he'd man up real quick and stop acting crazy ..
