Does anyone when Sturm has to face his mandatory in Anthony Mundine? :huhAlso does anyone know why Mundine did not have to fight a eliminator too get shot at Sturm? :think While I think Mundine is a real threat to Sturm it funny that guy has never fought 160 is rated number one at 160 by the IBF:roll:

The Build up of Pavlik vs Mundine will fun as Anthony has a mouth on him and is the kind of guy you love to hate:hey I think a number of years ago he was talking **** about 9/11 saying the US had it coming, he make Ali seems humble:smooch

    Sure thats not the WBA?

Anyone Mundines next fight is Feb 11 for the WBA International MW Title, against Shannan Taylor (a guy who fought Shane Mosley)

I've been saying since Mundine vacated 168 for Kessler he was probably promised a title shot at 160 to do so. This isn't hard to figure out is it?

Assuming Mundine gets past Sturm, will he be willing to face KP? If he is, how many rounds does Pavlik/Mundine last?

Anthony, I haven't even made 160 yet, let alone prove I can fight at that weight Mundine? Will he come in looking like Oscar did against Pac?

You can assume this, but it won't happen...

If he totally dominates Taylor in Feb then I think his balls will grow and might face Sturm in July. If he puts on a very mediocre performance against Tayor you can bet your ass that he'll try to chase up local fights with Green or Gaele. This fight with Taylor will say a lot of things about Mundine, especially since his performance in his last few fights have been less than impressive.

One must take into account however that as much as they were not world class opposition, they were all tried and proven very tough journeymen. Hamdan was tough as nails (and mundine had no desire to KO him either...), Soliman III was odd because Sammy totally changed his gameplan and surprised Mundine, and Crazy took everything that Mundine dished out and had a granite chin, Pintos was also tough as nails.

But in my opinion Taylor is shot, and if Mundine doesnt put on an impressive performance against him you can forget about anything great coming from Mundine.

Can Mudine at age 33/34 even make a weight at which he has never fought before? I doubt that this fight happens.

Sturm has to fight Mundine when Mundine agree's to step up.

Im very sceptical that this fight will happen on July 11th, i dont think Anthony will agree to it.

A retired Danny Green is still a harder task than Sturm.
