Ive been looking forward to this documentary about the Luis Resto/Billy Collins fight that took place back in 83. I saw the fight recently and it sent chills down my spine when Collin's father shook hands with Resto after the fight and he immediately got this look of disbelief on his face. You could hear him loud and clear, as hes holding on to Resto's gloves, not letting go, screamin "All the padding's out of the God damn gloves!". Very sad. The documentary is called "Cornered" Very tragic story as Im sure most of you know. I thought it was supposed to be released by now. Anyone have any news on it?? Is it out, where can I get it? I'm really looking forward to seeing this as well, but I have no info whatsoever on when it's going to be released. It's not even on Netflix's upcoming list yet, and they're usually a good source of documentaries.
Yea, same here man.. i emailed them twice. a simple "we dont know" or "its not quite ready yet" wouldve been nice..
I emailed them as well [august 2008], and got the following answer: "The documentary is feautre length, 90 minute. It will be televised but not till the spring, summer."
Jeez i would love to see this movie! i can't believe it took 25 ****ing years for it to materializeatsch what the hell took so long??
