Yep the games continue.. They will drag these negotiations on for as long as possible, eventually settling with the worst, and most ill prepared opponent they can get.
If it happens You will claim Duhaupas does not deserve this fight, there are many others better than he is, Wilder cheated him with the time of confirmation etc etc If it doesn't You will claim that Wilder ducked him and that he's off to fight another tomato can. :roflatsch The narrative is clear, so damn clear :hi:
Except I've already gone on record stating that Duhaupas is better than he's given credit for.. I also said that while decent he would probably lose because he doesn't really have the style to trouble Wilder... But that's all irrelevant right now. What IS relevant is that a little more than a month away from fight time Wilder has still failed to announce an opponent, or agree to any deal. So what we're likely going to get here is another mismatch, and a poorly prepared opponent. Yeah classy stuff from the "champ" and his team.
It's entirely possible that no one is stepping up to the plate!!! I'm guessing that Duhaupas is refusing to sign because he's afraid.
No that's not the case at all and you know it, stop beating around the bush. No deal has been agreed to because Wilders team are likely offering potential opponents peanuts, and by the look of things they want to pick the least threatening, and most poorly prepared opponent that they can get their hands on.
I doubt that very much!!! I suspect that people are simply not willing to face him, in fear of getting damaged, permanently. He hits that hard. Seriously, I believe Duhaupas is not willing to sign the contract. That's why this is taking so damn long.
Is that why Stiverne went 12 rounds with him? Why Molina went nearly 9? Wilder is not the puncher he's hyped up to be, that's become pretty clear after his last two fights. These are professional prize fighters, if they were afraid of damage they wouldn't be boxing. The more likely scenario is that Wilders people are offering chump change.
Deontay offers big money, Molina got 250k for that fight, good money. Duhaupas would be very willing to make that, but I'm not sure he really wants it, he knows Deontay can hurt him bad and get stopped for the first time in his career. :yep
Yeah he fought Charr, and Teper for next to nothing but he's afraid of a career high payday against Wilder. Yeah ok, makes sense. atsch
:smoke Is Peter McNeeley still alive? :hey If not... Dig him up and prop him up in the ring... for Wilder to continue padding his record!! http://www.hurricanepetermcneeley.com/
