When exactly was Lacys Prime anyway?

Lacy fought Roy Jones with one arm do you understand that? Lacy is fighting right now for money he does not have goals because he can't use his left arm like before. The Lacy who fought Calzaghe was in his prime healty, younger, full of confidence. He look bad against Calzaghe because everybody looks bad against him.

 

He was prime when he fought Calzaghe. That fight took everything away from him and he ended up past it. Single fights CAN do that as proven many times.

 

The same Taylor who has been ko'd by Froch and Pavlik,WOW.Calzaghe's best victory far and away was against a very good Kessler.He deserves kudos for that victory.Kessler will probably win the 168 pound tourney.To say that Jones was as good when he fought Joe as he was in his prime is simply incorrect.All you have to youtube him against Hopkins,Toney and the like.Against Calzaghe(and against everyone that he fights now),he can't move his feet to get out of a punch like he used to.Instead,he lays on the ropes and gets hit,trying to cover up.Years before he fought Calzaghe,he was beaten far worse by Johnson and Tarver.Now,I ask you this:if Jones was as good against Calzaghe as he was in his prime,then should we credit Johnson and Tarver as ATGs,because they beat Jones far worse than Joe did?If we can't say that they're ATGs because they're not good enough,then does that mean Jones was overrated,thereby automatically belittling Joe's win over him?If you want to deny the truth,which is that Jones is shot,has been for a long time,and is beating fighters more shot than he is nowadays,ok.If you can't accept that reality,that's fine.Keep deluding yourself.But answer one more question.If Jones isn't shot and hasn't been for awhile,why did lyin' Joe Calzaghe claim in his autobiography that Jones was indeed shot and that he wouldn't ever fight Roy because Jones was unworthy due to his being shot?Then when the fight was signed,Joe swore that Jones was still great,completely contradicting what he wote on paper,in black and white,in his autobiography "No Ordinary Joe".Just answer the question.

 

Jones can't move away and keep away from cement footed Lacy.He does not have the same footwork that he used to.He cannot get out of the way of a punch with his feet anymore.HE COULDN'T EVEN KO SHOT FORMER WELTER TRINIDAD.Stop talking nonsense.

 

Calzaghe's autobiography came out what in '04 or '05?Years before the fight was even on the radar because Jones was universally considered shot and had no credibilty in the ring anymore."Showing the Lion the Bait?"-at the time of the autobiography,Jones was a cub on his way out.You're silly.

 

When he dropped 5 rounds to Omar Fuggin Sheika, ie. shortly before Calzaghe "ruined" him. :rofl

He was in prime when he fought Joe C but not Taylor or Jones thats 4 sure!!
