When Floyd beat Pac what will the excuse be?

Ricky actually was bullying Floyd around. Floyd was still effective but he wasn't strong enough to control distance. With Shane.....no question Floyd was able to get in to Shane's head and Floyd become the bully where everyone expected Shane to be chasing Floyd down.

Floyd never out muscled Ricky if you watched the fight. IT was a very rough and physical affair because Hatton made it that way which is why he was able to go 10 hard rounds with Floyd. Floyd actually said Ricky was his hardest fight to date...I'm sure he was talking from a phsyical stanpoint than a tatical one.

I think Floyd is more athletically gifted than Shane....but not PAC.

 

Good post.....but PAC is gonna beat Floyd. Not because PAC is a better boxer but becuase Floyd's confidence in a fight with PAC is not going to be what it was for guys like Gatti, Shane, Corley or Corrales. When Floyd loses the confidence that helps make him the fighter he is in the ring, we'll begin to see a Floyd who is vunerable.

 

I think Floyds superior boxing IQ, knowledge and skill is what separates him. I agree with you that both are gifted athletes . It's just the application that separates Floyd from Manny and it will be apparent in the ring.

Floyd is off eating like crap with all his apple pies and donuts; he still manages to stay in shape. emmanuel plays politics for a few months and is looking flabby.

Floyd outmuscles emmanuel in the clinches due to having moar strength and experience on the inside.

 

Floyd has moar physical strength, better reflexes, and was faster prime for prime.

I don't think so chief. Floyd and PAC MAN are pretty much are par in most categories but strenght is definitly in PAC's favor. Reflexes, Floyd may have a slight edge and Floyd might be just as fast as PAC but i'm leaning towards PAC having a very slight speed advantage.

 

No, there's a difference between STRENGTH and POWER. You're thinking of POWER. I always thought emmanuel hits harder than Floyd, but he isn't as physically strong. Look at how he was able to give two strength training freaks like Mosley and Hatton hell inside of the clinches. Floyd is also slightly bigger than emmanuel.

Lots of Floyd's moves are speed based. Sloths don't get away with leaping hooks and pull-counters.

Oh...for sure. I just don't think Floyd has more PHYSICAL STRENGTH than PAC. I mean...he might. Actually you could be right...I'm not willing to place a wager if that were possible, but just because he's slightly bigger than PACMAN doesn't equate to Floyd have more "PHYISCAL STRENGTH".

At the end of the day these two are pretty much equals which is why this fight is a must! Two top guys going at it with no one person having that much avantage over the other. Let's hope Money makes something happen in 2011.
