In reality, Usyk was home to defend his country not even 24 hours after the war broke out. In early 2022, already in Kyiv, Usyk said that boxing was not important and he couldn't care less about belts and title fights at that moment.

And you know what? Even if he wasn't like that, it would be okay. He is not a soldier; he is not trained as a soldier. What good would it do if he were shot running around in Kyiv instead of raising awareness of the war, getting funds with his influence, and most importantly, uplifting the morale and hopes of his nation through sporting success? How would he help his country if he was to be shot out there randomly? While all lives are equal, Usyk is a national treasure and he would be misplacing his resources and efforts if he was trying to play a foot soldier. That's basically what his fellow injured countrymen told him when he visited hospitals. They told him that the best thing he could do for his country was to fight in the ring, win matches, and become undisputed. Several sources confirmed this, all while Usyk was seen doing drills and patrolling around Kyiv.

Long story short, it is nothing short of slanderous to claim Usyk is a coward who betrayed everything he lived for. Only the most pathetic and dishonest people claim these things, spinning narratives despite the facts. Congratulations, you just exposed yourself as a truly despicable liar. You disgust me.

 

I think people are overreacting to the first fight. Fury can win a rematch if he just trust his chin and power more and sits down on his right hand.

If you are not close to ukrainian culture, you don't understand, so don't even bother.

Deal with it, the guy identifies as Ukrainian and has been for his entire life. The fact that he spoke Surzhyk in the early years of his life doesn't mean he was not fully Ukrainian in identity all along. Betraying his father and his traditions, are you serious? Him, betraying the very man he worships and deems as his hero? Usyk is a very collected and civilised man but I hope you won't accuse him with stuff like that in a situation where he can grab you because you won't like his reaction.

 

Wlad, Vitali, Loma and Usyk are true Ukrainian patriots - they have made clear where they stand a million times already. Everything else is just calumnious Russian propaganda.

Usyk is also a devout Orthodox Christian and a man who respects and honors his father as a true Christian should.

He has had some really bad issues with injuries, but some of his signings have been poor

Fury is washed, you can only **** with your body so many times and he has finally hit his limit at 37. We're never gonna see a Fury with a good enough engine to win a 12 round fight with Usyk. It is what it is, he has maybe a 6 round gas tank in him now where he can be competitive with anyone. Once that runs out his suspect chin runs out as well.

Could be that Beterbiev is a huge power puncher and has huge strength, which most of his style is based on ? And you can carry all of that even in your 50s., which is easily seeable in powerlifting competition, arm wrestling, and strength based competition as well.
Or could be that he is bigger, and in same cases a lot bigger than his opponents? Could be that he doesn't need to give up 40+lbs advantages to his opponents ? 15-16cm. height advantage, and 19-20cm. reach advantage ?
Notify me when he fight an world class Champion with that traits and when he is so much smaller than them, also being 19 months older than them.
If Beterbiev main assess was his foot speed, footwork, hand speed, and was lacking power to the division he is, we could have talk.
Even if you are blind, you could just look at the punch output, you don't go from 700+ thrown punches to 400, and also has a lot less lateral and upper body movement, and slow down your feet for no reason.

But you are anti-Usyk so it doesn't even make sense trying. Keep coping though i like it.
