    Lay down the crack-pipe, beating a 1-1 rookie won't make him into a superstar, even if he does it in 1 or 2 rounds, however, more hardcore boxing fans will definitely be impressed and he may well be on the road to superstardom. I very much doubt he will manage to do it though. On the other hand, considering that you rate GRJ so much, if Lomachenko beats him or even does it impressively, what will that make Lomachenko?

    LOL, I've already commented above that if Loma wins I'll be a fan.

    I mean, so many here say that Loma is "special", and he has to be to get a title fight in just his 2nd Pro fight, lose, and then get another title shot right behind a loss.
    Therefore, if Loma is so very special in the eyes of so many, when Russell knocks him out common sense implies that Gary is extra special, by inheritance, right? :yep

    You plan to put down some cash on the fight or do you expect that the odds will be so high in Loma's favour to make it a worthless bet?

    That match up is pretty interesting. But nobody is going to become a star after it. Porter made a name by beating Magliany last week end. That won't be the case with Loma and Russel. They would have to beat a big name to become a star and they are not.

    Personally, it will be the test that I have been waiting to see from Russell. In my eyes it won't make Russell a superstar, but it will alert the world that a new prospective star in on the horizon.
