    Considering Wlad is a defense first fighter that is more than happy to just jab you to death for 12 rounds its a testament to his power that he gets this many KO's while hardly trying.
    I much prefer Vitali but when Wlad wants too he has pretty sickening power.
    Last time i actually saw him pissed in the ring was vs Austin and that first left hook sounded like a gun shot.

    Really wish Wlad would use that left hook more, hooking of the jab was something he used to have a patent on.

    Agreed, statistics don't really mean much when it comes to punching power. Some guy hit crazy hard and don't even have a great KO ratio. Maybe because they can't get the power to the target or fight better fighters. Any average puncher can have a 20-0 (20) record fighting bums and the statistics will say he is a harder hitter. No. It clearly does not work like that and is not so simple.

    Punching power in any case is a near impossible thing to measure and compare anyway. How do we do it? Is it by hardest punch the fighter ever landed? More consistent power? KOing opponents with better chins? No one knows. Also the distinction between 'puncher' and hardest hitter is too often confused by everyone. I'd say Joe Louis is the best 'puncher' ever. Is he the hardest hitter? No.

    I'd say Wlad's power is up there in terms of pure pounds per square inches, but he is a far inferior puncher - he simply does not have the punch variety that Foreman did. Wlad's KO shots are his right hand and left hook. Foreman's was every punch there was - including jabs.
