"He's still great because he ONLY lost to the best P4P fighter in the world...blah blah blah" Same thing they said after PBF knocked him the **** out.

Can you objective fans hear it? I sure can.

Eh, better then saying he was shot.

Edit: Seriously Hatton fans are class acts in defeat, or most of them are.

It's better than to be said...

    He is exposed by PBF
    He is shot
He is weight drained because he had too much fat
He should have went to Vegas for 8 weeks training not 4
    He is a bum
    He is a punching bag
    He is old

Yeah, that's what that whopping .04% of fans will say. They deserve a thread.

That's not the point. The point is that they are delusional into thinking he was ever great or on the same level as PBF or a Manny Pac. Hatton was never great, and he never will be. But, because he's only lost to one P4P fighter (soon to be two P4P fighters), they brush it off like it doesn't mean anything when in fact, it means everything.

Damn - calm down man! What do you gain by getting your point through? Obviously Hatton is a very good boxer, obviously Pacman is a great boxer. If Hatton wins he cemented his status as elite. If he loses, well, he still is a very good boxer - and it is not like he had a bad career.
So I agree with Janjalin. Those alternative reactions to a loss would be more like excuses.
What would YOU say, if Pacman wins, but only in a close, maybe controversial decision? Where do you see Hatton's place in this scenario.
Anyhow, this whole discussion is really stupid - and so am I for participating.

First excuse will be the referee didn't let him wrestle...lol...I still laugh at the whining during the PBF fight..seriously..he was KO'd by a ring post! lol

The ring post knocked him out, not the punch he didn't see! What's a check-hook? lol

Let's be kind to the Hattonites. Hatton himself showed class when he entertained Pac in Manchester. Let's calm down and be tolerant to errant few.

Your whinge is that, if Hatton loses, his fans will take it in a positive and realistic manner with a sense of perspective, rather than seeking to look for facile excuses?

Yeah, that's really terrible, they truly should all have their cute little fluffy kittens poisoned....
