Right but he squandered his immense talent with liquid crack. That's my whole point.

Dokes was a very good fighter, yet very overrated.

With all his talent I thought Michael Nunn was going to be an ATG. Same thing about Zab Judah.

Thought sure Charlie Powell, the great SF 49er defensive end, would break the jinx of football players makin' it big in boxing. He had all the tools, but a brittle chin.

Agree, o, but brittle hands may be his undoing.

I originally thought Fighting Harada should be no way near Top 50.

Well, in recent years my worst picks in fights have been Pavlik over Hopkins and Margarito over Mosley.

Actually in 2011, I thought Ezzard Charles was just another overrated old timer.

    I know right

Generally I had a lower impression on old timers. Especially considering I had the new timer bias..I still have a slight bias for new timers admittedly.

I thought JCC Jr vs Martinez would be close and near to a 50-50 fight

Couldn't disagree more, a. In his prime as a lightheavy, Ez was a silken Donald Curry at his best -- a deadly efficient, pinpoint combination puncher.
