Interesting JG, I appreciate all your stories like everyone else on this forum however I recently read Angelo Dundee's book "My view from the corner: A life in boxing" And he basically says the exact opposite to you in regards to Clay/Ali's training habits. He says he constantly ran everywhere, to & from the gym (roadwork) and was always the first in the gym and the last one to leave. He says he worked harder than anyone in the gym.

He agrees with the rest of your post though (Ali & Pastrano playing pranks) and looking bad in sparring.

    David Tua.

I didn`t realize he was going to lose his desire and gain weight. Tua started getting lazy looking for one big punch rather than moving his hands and breaking guys down to the body first. I thought I saw another Joe Frazier but I sure was wrong.

His career was a dissapointment IMO.

Well currently I have Kell Brook as being VERY good but a lot of people don't see it like that, therefore I could be wrong about him in the future, but currently right now I have him beating many opponents that many others would disagree on, such as Devon, Ortiz, Khan, and Canelo. I see something in him that is different from most fighters, his timing and accuracy along side his very underated power which can knock people over with just a jab, for example, watch how the KO started against Senchenko. It all began from a jack on the BACK FOOT. This is just one example. Only time will tell if I'm right about him.

Most recently? David Price, picked him as a new Klitschko. But he now looks chinny even by those standards.

I used to laugh at Carl Froch's style when he first turned pro. He's turned out to be a very good world class fighter and one of my favs to watch.
