When I first saw the fight announced I called Pac-Clottey a fixed fight, but Pac...

has a very tough customer in front of him tonight. Clottey is a good fighter and a decent boxer. He lacks the right hand to gain PAc's respect imo, but what Clottey does is fight smart for a left hooker. Ike "Bazooka" Quartey had a marvelous jab and left hook, but he lacked a big right hand also. Clottey reminds me of Ike a bit with his defense, and jabbing. Clottey... if he can use his defense, and not get caught or lumped up...swill give PAc problems tonight.

    But...lol

Clottey is also fighting one of the best fighters in the world today in PAc. PAc along with Floyd use feints better than anyone since the days of Sugar Leonard. which is about 20 years ago. Pac now feels you out, and finds your pressure point and explodes. PAc has become smart in the ring.

What impressed me about Pac's win over Cotto was that many of you did not think Pac could fight flatfooted, stay on the ropes and rope-a-dope a guy... Well PAc did rope-a-dope Cotto. PAc also saw Coto turn southpaw and made sure Cotto didn't land a big left.

PAc will have to fight flat footed at times against Clottey, but he has to stay off the ropes early in this fight imo. I do think that it doesn't matter if Pac is on the ropes or not, but I would stay off the ropes early by making clottey move to hit me, and waste his energy trying to find Pac. Clottey is selective with his shots, but he is a good body puncher. If PAc stays center ring, use his feints, and slides a big left down the pipe off of his feints and goes to the body, he can outbox Clottey-maybe even stop him which would be a feather in his cap.

PAc is unique in that he knows that if you can't hurt him, he goes all out after you. I like the fact that PAc has gotten smarter in the ring. Roach can't teach that. Trainers can get you in shape and they can only tell you what you're being hit with, when you are winning or losing, and to start attacking by doing what you did in training. Many times the fight doesn't go down as planned, but PAc has been able to adjust with the best of them today. Yes, the right hook of PAc and the straight left right hook to Clottey's body should be enough to keep Clottey defensive, and maybe stop him.

Can Clottey win? Most certainly, but Clottey has a tendency to be too patient letting the other guy punch himself out, and that has not happened in the AM or Cotto fights his biggest fights which he was impressive in, but lost. Can Clottey fight a disciplined fight-yes. Can this help him win the figt tonight...yes. Will clottey win? No!

    Pac tko in 11...

You're trying to justify buying a non-floyd fight.
We know you're a *******, just pretending to love floyd so much.

This is your slick attempt to get an apology note out to floyd in case he finds out you're secretly the biggest ******* idiot on the forum.

The difference in that fight could be a good jab from Clottey, but he goes to war a la Cotto or Hatton he's dead fish.

I think if you're a fan of the sport, and you want Floyd vs. Pac.. you ought to buy this fight.

If this one does over a million, Floyd will have to realize.

    That's just nonsense. It's part of a trainer's job.

Very good outlook on the fight. I too agree that this fight can go either way. I wouldn't call this a safe fight for Pac. But I have pac winning a wide UD on his work rate.

Nonsense monsense... Look, I know you think that trainers might take punches along with fighters, but they can only teach you but so much before you the fighter are hit with the biggest right or left hand of your life, and while the trainer is talking to you between rounds, the fighter is saying to himself...I have to avoid his big punch and counter him.

They told Manny to stay off the ropes and even his chubby cornerman was crying, and dundee told Ali the same thing-stay off the ropes. There comes a time when you turn a deaf ear to your trainer. I give trainers credit, but the fighter deserves all the credit. Trainers know their job. Keep a fighter motivated...

Look Don Imus Jr lol...when it comes to this sport of boxing, I am as real as it gets. I clown around with clowns like you and *******s, but you can't tell me shite about this sport.

When I give an analysis, most posters are shocked that I keep it real when prediting fights, and I'm humble in opinion if they lose... Most of the time I retaliate on floyd's behalf when guys like you come with the fake hate about a person you don't know or never met. You can't really hate someone you don't know lol...I keep telling you that!

If Pac loses, I won't be screaming at all the *******s your man lost like a little kid. I respect fighters who give it their all in that square ring. Maybe a month or so later I might shite on the fighter whose fans talked all that shite, I might shite on them lol...but I'm real when it comes to this sport that was a part of my life for 30 years...

You do realize you have a post history right?
I would say this is the first thread I have ever seen that eve remotely resembles a real take on fighters.

Your head is up on cloud 9 with your dreamboat mayweather most of the time.

    Don imus jr???
