I too thought Ali was the best when i was a kid and didn't know my history. Then i started to get knowledgeable, and realised there were greater fighters than he, yeah? Started to think he wasn't that great really, and would tell casual fans nar he ain't the best, 'there's this guy and that guy that **** all over him', and 'Joe Louis is a greater heavy than him' etc etc. Then after i was comfortable with my own knowledge of boxing history i realised i was just going against the grain and rebelling against the 'hierarchy'. Ali is one of the best fighters ever p4p and my number one heavy all day.

:goodAgreed i use to laugh at certain Posters when i first came on who said " where is your credibility Noob" Things have changed now but i couldnt believe that people thought just cause i was new to ESB that it meant i was new to boxing. Well after being a here after a few months i learned that some of these people were pretty much newbies to the sport and became fans around the time they came to ESB.
