When, if ever has Pacquiao beaten a top fighter in their prime convincingly?

I heard him talk about wanting to be the next great fighter, but did not notice him say Pac was his idol (not that I care).I'm a Nonito fan, not a Pac fan. I don't dislike Pac, just not a big fan although I used to like him more before his fans became too annoying and he became overrated after beating 2 punch bags! Pinoy's will never except Nonito like Pac!

I think Pacquiao is a legand himself but I wouldnt bank on him having the same luck at these higher weights, I think he is really pushing himself here.

2nd time. No question. He was better prepared and had a more intense traning camp.

Hatton, Mayweather, JMM again, and then beat Clottey or Mosley or even Cotto.

The only one he will beat is Hatton! He'll never make top 25 all-time! Marquez hits harder too after moving up but he's proved himself against live opponents above 130 unlike Pac. Beating Hatton at this point does not do a lot towards moving the Pac-Man to that status. It helps some but he'd have to do more!

This thread makes me regret ever using the term "*******". There are far worse things than Pacquiao fans.
