You said Barrera was shot cause he had been fighting in wars for 15 years. Then I said Pac has been fighting in wars for even longer, do you consider him shot?

you can either answer the question or spout some more gibberish. :D

Manny Pacquiao was fighting more wars than Marco, Tell me this, who had consistently been fighting the better and bigger opposition? Only one answer.

But Barrera was not shot, you can tell by how he performed against Ayala and Morales. After that though, I really didn't see a lot more from my boy.

Good win from Manny, his best to date for my money.

Yea so was Clifford Etienne a High Rank contender but that didnt Mean he was Top Comp. Under 60 seconds Tyson finished Him but what happened when he faught the champ? Same applies to barrera. His Elite status had been ran dry. You shouldv seen this much when the much Hyped Rocky Gave Him a Run. 2000 barerra wouldve Starched Rocky as he was just an HBO hype machine like jermain taylor with all those Gifts that they called boxing matches. Which is why I hate Rocky too many Gifts from the judges same with Taylor

This is my point. The 2003-2004 Barrera was still a damn good fighter. But when Marco starts having trouble with the likes of Jaurez, it's evident that he has slowed down considerably. Even in the rematch, it wasn't so much a schooling as it was a sprint. Against Marquez, he didn't have a lot left, but because he was fighting a fellow Mexican, a little bit of fire came out. He still didn't perform impressively after the first 3 rounds though.

Coming off his performance against Oscar No.... But Like I said theres more then 1 reason a fighter can become shot and Barerra reality isnt Pac Mans reality. Everyman is diffrent what screwed Roy up(up and down wieght) may Not Screw up Pacman. Pacman downfall will be the pool hall

Ok he was I can accept that But he was by no means an elite level fighter anylonger watching the Rocky fight slowed down is an understatement. But he was just that good that he can still pull off wins
There unimpressing and they just dont intrest me like his older material. The comp didnt get better(except fo the rise of pac man) He left alot behind him. Didnt he recently get kod?

well, the same can be said about marquez and hatton. in marquez's case, the only Elite fighter that he has won against (barrera - p4p #6) wasn't exactly prime and the victory certainly wasn't convincing either. and no, diaz and casa certainly aren't Elite being B+ fighters and casa wasn't in his prime either. for me, an Elite (level A) fighter should be in the top 15 p4p. that's why they're called Elite.

for hatton, both tsuyu and castillo certainly weren't in their primes either although they were certainly Elite being both in the top 10 p4p at that time.

Hatton has not done this either. He was knocked out against the only top fighter in their prime he fought obviously. Marquez beating Diaz, I hold that a bit higher than you do. I'd say Diaz could be considered an A fighter, or at least put on an A performance and he's young and in his prime. Pac fought David Diaz, JMM fought Juan Diaz, totally different level of fighters.

well, david diaz certainly isn't Elite being a decent B level fighter.

imo, that KO loss of julio diaz to unknown reyes hurt juan diaz's status. his win vs. B level katsidis wasn't convincing either and he lost to campbell who i consider as borderline Elite (A- level). that's why i consider juan diaz as B+ level and not Elite (A level).

Reyes is unknown but maybe a pretty good fighter, at least when he lets his hands go. We will see how he does.

Juarez is a tough competitor but I can agree with you for considering him a B fighter and with Barrera getting only 2 close wins over him, I think I can see your point. Barrera had slipped no doubt but he was far from being shot, more particularly during his first fight with Pac. After he lost to Pac Barrera put up a terrific performance in succeeding fights; KOing Ayala and Fana and winning the superfeatherweight title from Morales in the conclusion of their trilogy. As I said, I respect your opinion buddy but I cant agree that Barrera was already shot the first time he fought Pac.

Most of those whom you called *******s consider the "word" as a title of honor. In that case, I am proud to be called one.
