Mayweather had a ridiculous 18 months when he fought Corrales, Hernandez, Chavez, then Castillo.

What about Evander Holyfield? Its harder for a HW to get such a great run because of the inability to jump weight classes (although before this his CW run encompassed EVERYONE)

    3 year period 1:
    1990-1992
    Buster Douglas
    George Foreman
    Larry Holmes
    Riddick Bowe

    ALL lineal champs,

    3 year period 2:
    1993-1995
    Stewart
    Bowe x 2
    Mercer
    Moorer

    and again, period 3:
    1996-1996
    Tyson x 2
    Moorer
    Lewis x2

Even in his dotage, 2001 to 2003 takes in Ruiz, Rahman, Byrd, Toney. Even his corpse faces Ibragimov and Valuev.

Surely any K brothers fan can look at that and see why neither is held in the regard of the really great fighters. Holy as an old man has fought AT LEAST as good a calibre opponent as either; and any of his 3 runs listed before 1999 are better. The guy is everything you want a champion to be.

Muhammad Ali from 1971-74 (this was about a 44 month period rather than Oscar's 38)

Joe Frazier 2x (undefeated the first time)
    George Foreman (undefeated)
    Ken Norton 2x

And in between that, he beat top 10 contenders like Jimmy Ellis, Mac Foster, George Chuvalo, old Floyd Patterson, Joe Bugner.

Half a dozen top 10 contenders in addition to two ATGs, and Ken Norton who was a very good boxer (and is a HOFer).

Oscar got gifts and got robbed....was funny

Clearly lost to Whitaker, Quartey, and Sturm, but got robbed against Mosley and Trinidad.

What 3 did you have him lose?
Also i wish Floyd would take a page out of Oscars book trying to fight the best and wanting to test yourself.
Oscar showed that a few losses here and there does not lower your PPV income with the right personality.

Word. The guy fights everyone. I used to not like him because of his attitude but the guy comes to fight every time and he does not take tune ups.
