When is a fighter NO LONGER a "tomato can"?

    I think Vera has shown lately he is a good quality B+ level fighter, definatly not a tomato can

    I think if you beat anyone in the top 8 of any of the major rankings 3-4 times that rules you out

    If a guy gets the W over a top-eight fighter, G, but he's a crude clubbing fighter, does that make any difference?

    its the W that counts not how its got, maidina isn't a tomato can, far from it, he is top 3 at 140 i believe but crude and clubbing he most definatly is

    I think tomato can reflects an attitude as much as a skill level, a lack of dedication

    I did consider Vera a tomato can but I think he has the hunger back and has a decent win over Mora he cant really be considered that any more

    a guy with a big losing record thagt goes there for the payday is a so called can

    ther is pro journeymen that have good defense, regular tv fighters are hardly that u idiots

    A tomato can is always a tomato can. If they actually manage to beat someone it just means they're a lucky tomato can. I think you're getting shot/washed-up (which means they were good at one point) mixed up with fighters that were never any good to begin with and are there to pad out records.
