I think it's pretty clear Canelo is avoiding Benavidez...

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I believe Canelo would still beat Benavidez.

Canelo would have to cope with more incoming than he's had in sometime, but he'd present Benavidez with all kinds of problems, notably his sharp counterpunching and bludgeoning body work.

To date, none of Benavidez's opponents have possessed sufficient firepower to truly capitlize on his vulnerabilities (somewhat upright approach, sometimes clunky footwork). Canelo has plenty of tools and, as we've seen, punishing power.

Tough fight for both men, though I think Canelo's experience, superior all-around craft, and "A-side" status carry the day.

When Benavides promises to fight for 500 pesos, rehydration clause of 1 lb, fight with one arm tied behind his back and shoe laces tied together.

    Then they can start negotiations.

I don't think Benavidez wants any Canelo from last night. This Canelo blows him to bits.

I think Benavidez will wait for at least 3 years for Canelo to age. Then he'll start saying "I want to fight Canelo, he's scared of me" etc.
