I would not be surprised if he lands a fight with PBF. This would calm everyone down.

    :yep

I haven't checked the tale of the tape, but I would guess Paul would have had a hell of a reach advantage too

Now whether he would have used it........

Rigo isn't getting that super star treatment either.

IMO, that is what rubs a lot of fans wrong, is the accolades/media love/$$ Canelo gets vs the opposition he'd faced to earn it.

  6. Good point, I apologize.

Rigo's resume sucks, but he IS calling out top guys.

do you even follow boxing? kirkland was coming off shoulder surgery and that is the only reason dlh offered him the fight...because he wouldve been at a severe disadvantage not being completely rehabbed with a full trianing camp to go along wiht his already suspect chin.

is it not the least bit perplexing that dlh are no longer pursuing james now, you know, that he has healed from his surgery?

some of you guys are entirely clueless.

none of the canelo nuthuggers will offer a rebuttal to this because the answer is fairly obvious.

only true idiots cannot see the blatant fraud of fighting a guy three months removed from a brutal war(ortiz)who was fighting 140-pound eight-rounders just over a year and a half ago while only accumulating a less than 50 percent ko ratio.

canelo couldnt even fight or call out bundrage, a 38-year-old, 5'6" blown-up ww because he was coming off two ko wins over a drunk corey spinks.

maybe its because canelo is only 22 year old. yeah thats it. 22.

    He's still only 22, dickhead.

  11. Doesn't he have like 40+ "pro" fights?

Doesn't change the fact he's a very young pro. And the first 30 or so fights he had were against journey men.. like every Mexican that goes pro at 15. He's a 22 year old pro with at least another 10 years ahead of him. He has skill's that nobody can doubt. This fella is the next best thing in boxing. The fella is quality. Give him time.

Not gonna happen for a while, Cotto's gonna struggle and maybe get a gift vs Trout then he'll jump all over a Cotto fight since he's looked bad in his last one so in that sense that won't even be a live oppoenent really.
