He has been calling out Floyd. Floyd should take this fight.

Yeah I am kinda disappointed with boxing we have a bunch of undefeated welter weights who are picking and choosing fights, despite allbeing supposedly elite fighters just to not fight other top fighters. If you are 40 and 0 then there should not be a fighter you are scared to face, otherwise you are just fighting tomatocans most your career. And to me thats not what boxing should be. If boxing continues like this, you will never see a hagler hearns or a leonard duran or an ali frazier. Instead you will end up with another murderers row, a bunch of fighters proclaiming how great they are while simultaneously ducking anyone who may have a chance to beat them.

It is only a matter of time before fighters like Alvarez loose their appeal because they only want to fight guys who know they can't win.

Wrong, Narvaez was Ring #1 rated at 115 when he fought Donaire at 118. And unlike Lopez, JMM was not a career fringe contender whoe lucked out against a headcase hypejob.

you have to understand the mentality of DOC. this is the guy that said that canelo would beat and KO donald curry and then admitted that he had never seen curry fight nor did he even know who donald curry was. this is the typical canelo nuthugger. clueless idiots that dont even know who donald curry was, a pfp candidate in his prime.

DOC has got to be one of the stupidiest guys here. he stopped making threads because he would end up getting abused on them.

****ing DOC, comparing josesitio to narvaez and jmm.

this guys stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

trying to compare fringe contender lopez to narvaez and jmm?

    you big dummy.

    narvaez was #1 ranked, DOC.

also, pbf was coming off almost two years of inactivity and retirement and the fight was to be at a catchweight of 144, for which floyd would be compromised. furthermore, both jmm and narvaez were not coming off brutal fights and giving less than three months to recooperate, train and prepare. anyone in boxing will tell you that a fighter needs at least six months and more than likely nine months to recooperate from a fight such as josesito and ortiz.

    DOC, you big dummy.

please, put me on your ignore list.

    jmm...narvaez...and josesitio lopez???

    you big dummy.

I don't know much about the poster, beyond the avatar and an all around bias for Mexican fighters. I don't mind this last one, I like watching Mexicans, but one thing I respect about them is that many turn pro young without any regard for their record (Salido, Miguel Vazquez...). Canelo is the opposite of this, a combo of a hugely protected paper titlist and a massive hypejob. He might be all that, but his handlers sure are not eager to prove it. To be frank I don't even see any special talent, he's a plodder with mediocre output, speed and power. I could be wrong of course.

right now, i see a jmw version of tommy morrison at best. saul looks good against compromised competition but his handlers will not put him in with live fighters. unlike tommy who was a devastating puncher with both hands, canelo has no serious one-punch power and is a plodder with no jab and very well-protected for some reason, a reason that probably is not good.

no disrespect to tommy morrison as he fought a brutal do-or-die war against joe hipp where he broke his hand and jaw. if morrison lost that fight his career wouldve probably been over as he was rebuilding after his vicious ko loss to mercer.

i love mexican fighters and mexican people. its the reason that im an american living in mexico.
