You know full well styles make fights and there were other reasons too for Spike being particularly poor that night. Eubank will hopefully give Spike a chance. Billy was all wrong for Spike. Spike is at his best nowadays - we will see what he is capable of in December. He will be underdog for sure, but a live underdog.

Eubank is strong and has lots of stamina. Hes going to start getting experience now. He lost to Saunders but only by one judges interpretation. Had one of those other judges seen it the same way as the one that Gave the fight to Eubank hed still be unbeaten. Had that figt been in America he probably would still be unbeaten. He only lost by a split not a unanimus decision. The judges couldnt agree on who won because there was a strong case for Eubank.

That was his first decent opponent and first time he did 12 rounds and went past 8 and he finished the far stronger. He tried pacing himself. Had he won another round more clearly early the fight would have been his.

Spike will get stopped and Eubank will look impressive. He will go on to win the WBA by beating Quillan or Jacobs then maybe he has a huge unification with Saunders or Lee. Either way I see him winning all these fights then he has as much experience as hes going to get and has as much chance of beating Golovkin as anyone willing to fight him.

Lets get this clear now. Eubank is the only fighter wanting to face Golovkin and actually believes he can win. Even Ward deosnt want it!

Saunders has embarrassed himself saying he thinks Golovkin would knock him out if they fought! Who would want to see that fight? Saunders has no desire to fight Golovkin. He may get in the ring with him but he wont fancy the job not after how many times hes repeated that he wouldnt stand a chance.

I think Saunders fiddles his way to a decision over Lee, hes not going to be as easy to catch for Lee.

 

eubank shouldn't be anywhere near 3g at this stage.

the only time he should have got a shot (that is, current eubank) is when 3g was making his crummy interim defences against bums, but 3g has stepped up since then intot he world of real world title defences.
