he wont make money, that i assure, he'll be exposed in his first 6 fights. he couldn't even qualify for team p akistan in this years olympics he lost the qualifying match to a p akistani fighter in ****stan. That should be enough to tell you his pedigree:yep
lol, ye im "selling him" seems like he has done a good job of that already to be honest going by some of the comments in this thread. Youve got a guy whos hated him from when he was 14? lol
He aint a bad amateur at all. He's not at the elite level by anymeans but to say he's no good is bollocks. A bronze at the Commenwealths was good especially after beating Selby albeit in a very close fight that could have went either way. Still he's a grade A ****in ****.
If you're judging purely by boxing ability then he is a decent amateur - no more, no less. Personally, having seen him box on a few occasions, he will not be setting the world alight if he turns pro. Perhaps an area title but certainly not British level. However, if you're judging the whole package of Haroon, including his personality, then he is a prize ****. He is a cocky, loud-mouth little gobshite that thinks the world owes him a favour. I've seen first hand the swagger of the boy and he thinks he is something else. I, for one, will be hoping he turns pro and gets his arse handed to him.
i can't wait for him to turn pro and get knocked out just to watch their mother cry again and need an oxygen mask lolz.
i remember back in 2010 some of the stuff he said towards rob macracken was extremely disrespectful he acted like a little punk with a chip over his shoulder
Eh? Read it again. I said his style was not "obviously suited to the pro game". That means that certain amateurs look like their style is very in and out, straight, light scoring shots etc. Take someone like Billy Joe Saunders. First look at him as an amateur and you say his style IS suited to the pro game. He goes to the body, can fight inside and does things that wont score in the ams but will translate to the pro game well. Now someone like Khan or Frankie Gavin....their style did not OBVIOUSLY translate to the pro ranks, so it remained to be seen if they would adapt well to it. Both did in fairness but in Khan's case, some of the issues that were suggested by his amateur style have remained an issue. He cannot fight inside. At all. He throws almost everything down the pipe, meaning that even fast attacks can often be taken on the gloves. His style was not one that screamed "pro ranks" unlike a banger like Haye or an inside fighter like Hatton. But due to his attributes and some changes he has carved out a very successful pro career. If anything I was defending him, not criticising him.
