When is John Simpson fighting next?

    Last I heard John was defending his commonwealth featherweight title against Steven Bell on the Khan-Kotelnik undercard in late June, but I have not heard a thing about this fight since, & when Frank Warren held a press conference 2 weeks ago, he gave a rundown of who was on the bill, but never mentioned the Simpson-Bell fight...

    I was wondering if anyone knew if & when John will next be fighting?

    I thought it was going to be Ricky Owen, but he should try and avenge some of his defeats

    John was meant to be fighting on the Khan undercard but that has fallen through. He's out in July but no venue or opponent has been named yet. He wants Lindsay though at some point this year.
