I think he knows he's reached the extent of his potential and is running a bit short. He got a fair measure of himself vs Calzaghe, and then Ward just really showed him up real bad. Personally, i think he feels he cant truly win vs some of the "newer" talent in supermids...

Why would ANYONE envy Kessler? I have yet to see a kid hoping to be a boxer doing a Kessler imitation. Why? Because no upcoming boxer (except in Denmark/Sweden) actually thinks the dude is anything special.

Kessler doesn't need anyones praise, he's holding the WBC belt and is about to advance through to the semi finals in the super six tournament, he's among the very best in the world.
