Right? I don't see why people seem to...forget that. I don't even understand why he's rated as highly as he is. He has fought 2 people of note ever and lost to one of them. Badly. The other fight was stopped so prematurely that it shouldn't even count if you want to be real. That's a fight needs a rematch (Quillin), but instead he fought Mora...was it 3 times?

Jacobs requested K2 give him a higher cut . They refused , so he filed a petition to the WBA to try make Loefler give him more money.
The WBA sided with Loefler and stood firm on the 25-75 cut. Therefore Golovkin , Glovkins team , Golovkin Golovkin , Gennady Loefler denied him 40%.

Because I actually follow boxing and listen to what is said. For example, I listened to Lara's manager when he said he has never made any formal contact to Golovkin's team. I listened to Golovkin when he said on multiple occassions his goal is to unify the middleweight division (which Lara doesn't fit in with). I listened to this interview with Eddie Hearn when he said Brook said 'get me Golovkin' and Hearn immediately contacted GGG's people (something Lara hasn't done yet as per his manager)

Not really. Lara brings very little to the table. He has no fanbase, and his numbers are poor. Canelo-Lara drew lower numbers on Showtime than Canelo-Trout or Canelo-Angulo. And this wouldn't be on PPV either.
