    Kirkland is busy fighting guys he should supposedly dominate but will struggle against. Because he was never that good.

    Sometime after kirkland catches his breath from the tapia fight would be my guess. In all seriousness would love to see this fight if neither can get a canelo fight next

    Umm, not a Lara fan but he'd tell James when the punches are
    coming and with which hand and still land over 50%. total mismatch
    with james being stopped in 2 or 3 rds tops.

    As far as I know Kirkland already has a fight lined up. Assuming he gets past that (with his punch resistance that isn't a given) this fight should be seriously considered. I personally believe that Lara would win, possibly by stoppage, but it is a fight that the 154 pound division desperately needs.
