does anybody knows what margo plans are??..i'm just asking this question out of curiosity,please if you gonna say,who cares or he is a cheater hope he dies,or whatever comment please dont,i would like too know,because i think cotto,williams and perhaps even mosley are interested(just my humble opinion!!)
Suspension is for one year and he got his ass whopped late January, should be fighting early to mid next year at most.
Who cares well next month would be 1 year so im guessing he would be fighting around march:think If he gets his licensed back then im sure he would want to fight right away. Train for 8 weeks then fight some bum most likely.
Its ATLEAST 1 year, there is no guarantee that he will be reinstated, I think his trainer will be gone for good.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that his trainer was banned from the sport. Margo claimed he didn't know that his trainer was tampering with his wraps so they went some what lenient on him, I don't see them doing the same for the trainer who they know was willfully cheating. As for exactly when Margo's next fight will be it depends on a lot of factors one is he reinstated right after the ban is up, I think he probably will be. Two what shape is he staying in, as long as he is still staying in fairly good shape I see him trying to get a fight in at most 3 months after the ban is lifted. Because its really obvious he wants to start fighting again as soon as possible and I heard that he is getting Roach as his new trainer.
He is suspended from California Athletic Commission for at least a year then will apply for reinstatement in that state... The other Commissions tend to honor one Commissions decisions and hence he was also banned in the other states, but that will probably be lifted without any hearing in January. So, while he may not be able to fight in California, he will be able to fight in all other States that have Governing bodies.... Thats my understanding anyways...
I think he meant if Margarito actually knew his trainer was doing it, as he's denied. In my personal opinion? I agree with Miguel Cotto, who said "every fighter knows how his trainer wraps hips hands". Margo's cheating scum, and I just can't decide whether I'd rather he never fights again or rather I want to see him get his ass beat in the ring.
Yeah if he didn't know about it when his trainer was wrapping it, he sure as hell should have known something was wrong when he was taking the wraps off with a claw hammer.
Im pretty sure the suspension was only in the USA... he could of fought in Mexico if he wanted too.... he can fight tomorrow if he wants..
I believe so too, but of course he wouldnt want to disregard them and then become banned indefinitely by California.
