So he's better off fighting on a channel nobody watches?

I know you love FW, but what planet do you live on?

Do you seriously think a featherweight like Smith from an area of London which generally contains people who are not interested/to busy
to Support a fighter/sportsmen as they do in places like hull, Manchester or Leeds is going to sell more tickets because hes on sky infront of a live audience of say 100k?? You are seriouslg deluded if thats what you think.[/QUOTE]

huh? Hearn has about 3 shows in London a year

Yes, if he ends up being guided to a world title shot at home like Buglioni - who we all know shouldnt be in that position but because BN FW can make it happen...or better still win the thing like terry flannighan who is set to make a fortune from having the belt if he does the business.

Err, in what way has Buglioni been guided to a title shot? He's got one on the back of a fact he sells tickets.

Flanagan was the recipient of FW's relationship with the WBO. He didn't even win the belt outright.

Really not sure how he'll make a fortune either? Please explain?

If boxers saw the future on BN as looking rosy, why are all of them trying to get over to Sky/whinging about Sky like Mitchell Smith?

Mate, youve pretty much agreed with my point without realising it.

My original post was in response to someone suggesting that Mitchell Smith should sign with Hearn..I simply broke it down to demonstrate why I thought it was nonsense and just lazy thinking...'just sign with Hearn' its ridiculous
As for Buglioni my point is as I said, hes been given aa shot because of Warrren and the fact that he has a platform in order to deliver his fighters like frank opportunites...if buglioni was with Hearn would he be getting a shot at Carl frochs old belt on home soil=no...has the fact that he doesnt fight on sky impeded him from being a ticket seller = no.

As for Flannigan Warrren as you know pays well..hes got the belt whichever way he got it..its Flannigan v Mathews next which will be a sell out...if he keeps winning there are plenty of other paydays available.

I do not agree with you in the slightest. NOBODY is better off being with FW in the long run. It is lunacy to suggest they could be.

Buglioni would undoubtedly sell more tickets if he fought on Sky. How can you think otherwise? He fights on a nonsense channel that nobody watches. If he fought on Sky he'd do loads more tickets.

Is this the same world title belt you refuse to recognise when Quigg wears it just out of interest?

What pay days are there for Terry? Hearn won't let his fighters fight on BN.

Dragon Punch, Ask Ricky Burns and countless others where they would be better off or are better off.

You have to ask yourself why are so many switching to matchroom and continuing to do so.

Lol Ricky Burns? That's the worst example you could have come up with mate..he's turned into a journeyman bum since the switch..who's (technically) bankrupt, and has to spend his week away from his family training with Hearns right hand man sims in TOWIE land :patsch

So your seriously trying to suggest that Hearn would pay the money to bring a world champion over to defend against a domestic/euro at best level fighter like Buglioni - you know the answer is no otherwise Rocky feilding, Callum Smith etc would be further along.

You talk as if sky is like ITV in terms of coverage...boxing (apart from high profile fighters/big PPVS involving Froch/Joshua/brook) is nothing to sky bosses for a reason..it's the same reason why they cut ringside. If your argument is that high profile fighters of that calibre are better of on sky/PPV rather then BN then of course I 1000% agree but nobody is going tell me that the likes of Buglioni and Mitchell Smith are better of with matchroom/sky when they get a real hands on approach by the best and most wiley promoter in the UK in FW.

When its all said and done in this day and age it's almost irrelevant what channel a fight is on as the fcuker will be up on youtube within hours of the BC anyway. Look at the barb figures for the average saturday fight night its peanuts.

Lets alos look at say Scott Cardle- are you really trying to tell me this guy is better known then Mitchell Smith?

Go and ask Billy Joe Saunders if he would have been better of with Hearn- Billy has earned an absolute packet against the likes of Eubank Jnr plus the Haymon step aside money etc even before he fights Lee for the title..If he wins FW has guided this kid from the start to the world title, earned him money, fame and the dude has never set foot on sky.

I stopped here. A proper promoter would not have to liquidate companies owing millions, whilst routinely screwing boxers out of their purses.

The fact you support the bloke says all we need to know about the type of individual you are.
