Last erson i can think of is judah, he gave floyd alot of problems early, since then its been shot fighters and slow plodders. Ortiz is ok but he is a mental midget.

The better question is; when's the last time Floyd faced someone with that kind of chin?

The thought of khan wading forward chin in the air with one of those dumb combinations with square feet right onto a Mayweather right hand is making me chuckle. Mayweather would clown Khan, who's incredible speed would be nullified by his own stupidity.

I don't know if he ever has:yep We need a glass jaw icon...

Regardless, there is some relevance to this buried somewhere beneath the trolling. I have said for a long time that Khan has a few positive attributes, and a style that may actually work well against Mayweather. One thing that we know for sure, is that slow fighters, who rely on power, hooks, and few straight shots are generally not equipped to beat Floyd - they would need some superhuman physical attributes in order to leverage any kind of advantage in the ring against Floyd. Having a granite chin really isn't the key.

That said, we all know Khan's weaknesses (chin, poor boxing IQ and tendency to wade in) unfortunately for him they are well exploited by Floyd's strengths. The sensible money would be on a Floyd getting used to Khan's speed after a couple of rounds and then finding that glass jaw with a perfect counter. But I still stand by the fact that Khan poses a more interesting proposition than the vast majority of other top 10 fighters - there mere fact that there is an imbalance between the strengths and weaknesses of the two fighters makes it more interesting than a fight involving a good all round fighter who has no skill or physical trait to leverage an advantage with (where we can guarantee a dull UD12 win for Floyd).

Physical skills? You mean physical attributes?

Khan has a few good physical attributes, primarily hand speed, but he has little in the way of boxing skills compared to other top fighters.

Cotto is 10x the fighter Khan will ever be, even the version Floyd fought last time cause May more problems than Khan would. Khan gets stopped in 6 rounds tops, more likely 3 or 4.

Chico had a better Chin and more Heart also. Khan would get KOed faster than Glass Jawed Ortiz did. It would be a complete wipe out.

Amir Khan has blazing handspeed and, quite frankly, little else to recommend him at the elite level.

He's power, boxing prowess, and defensive skills are all rather pedestrian.

And his chin.... well... what could I add here that hasn't already been said?

Seriously khan has chance against mayweather because of his speed, if he fight smarrtly he can win.
