    9th november 1997

    Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield
    Michael Moorer vs Francois Botha
    Naseem Hamed vs Remigio Molina
    Ronald Wright vs Ensley Bingham
    Steve Collins vs Nigel Benn

Ricardo Lopez, Herbie hide, Carl Thompson, Danny Williams also fought on the undercards

So it's been about 13 years since the last great PPV. The whole point for paying for a fight was to get numerous great fights and fighters all fighting on one great sporting event. Now it's just another way to rip off hardcore, loyal fans of the sport.

I don't buy PPV for the cards. If I did I would be the most unhappy person ever.Fight cards suck outside of the lead up fight and the main event.

Alvarez gave a good under card performance against Cotto's brother recently and there was a very good fight on he undercard of the Mayweather Mosley fight where Mayweathers sparring partner Lock got whupped.I guess Mayweather owed him one.He got his chance and loss and he is a permanent sparring level fighter or maybe not.The backstory there was a bit interesting.

Now that I think about it there have been some good fights on the undercards of PPV.But never the entire card.

Anyway.Any PPV I buy is worth it to me because somebody has to lose so it counts and is nearly always career shaping.

    Last month.

Even with Guerrero and Casamayor disappointing, that card was worth every penny of $49.95 to watch in HD.

Last night. Adamek Grant was loads better than I expected. Had a few friends over and none are big boxing fans. All enjoyed the fight and had a lot of respect for Adamek. When the fight began they all thought Adamek was gonna get crushed.

I was happy with last nights show, and the December 5th Latin Fury card was great; Cermeno/Valdez stole the show.
