I know in mejico you can prety much start when you want, margarito started with 16. pacquiao coming from the p-pines also started around 15-16 with pro boxing.

I couldnt find it on google, so I need your help, do you have to be 18 or can start with 17 in UK or US?

18 buddy, be very careful about going pro, totally different to fighting Amatuer.
In Mexico it's 15 to turn Pro.

    18 in the USA

    15 in Mexico

Don't really know the age limit in any other country but those two are correct.

Juan Diaz was 16 I think when he debuted in the USA, though I think it's state by state there. Some guy did a look for the youngest prospects in the world and found this:

    http://boxingprospects.blogspot.com/p/teenage-prospects.html

Which lists a 14 year old some 15 year olds! And a 16 year old with a record of 10-0 (7)

Don't do it. The child molestors promote how important it is to start young.
The key is to start after 23 yrs old when ur body and brain are near complete development. 90% of younger fighters are getting beaten up
    or fighting 2-15 tomatoe cans.
Enjoy life then turn pro. 23 is the new 17.

Benitez became a world champion when he was 17, although from reading the previous posts there is a legal age to get licensed nowadays.
