Something fishy is going on they were supposed to be doing an event almost every month of the year but so far this year for the first half there's only been three events. There's also not a single new event announced and we are at the halfway point of the year. What is going on? Something strange is going on

That is awful. If the next event is in October that means they've only had 4 events so far this year

And all of them PPV´s. Seems like PBC is ****ed and likely done for. I can´t imagine most of their fighters staying with them when at best they can get 1 fight a year on some PPV undercard.

Or Haymon is taking a bit of a step back and just pimps out guys he can not get fights for. Which is something he used to do more often and it´s actually a win, win for everyone in the sport. Haymon had no problems letting Jacobs go and work with different promoters and the sport was better off because of it.

The sport will be better once Haymon leaves the scene.

Amazon is not going to throw away money to make a fight. They aren’t stupid like Showtime and HBO. They will do PPV cause it’s money they charge for hosting the broadcast and no involvement in paying for it. Seems like It is up to PBC to pay these fighters and event. Amazon then decide if it is worth it for them to pay for it.

October is over now and there are no upcoming PBC events scheduled for the rest of the year. They put on 4 shows the whole year. Where are the people who said PBC on amazon would be the biggest thing in boxing? PBC has fallen way behind the other big promotions

    PBC is finished.

Cruising the PBC website, here is the number of shows they listed by year:

    2024: 5 (nothing else scheduled)
    2023: 19
    2022: 19
    2021: 33
    2020: 30 (Covid)
    2019: 33
    2018: 25
    2017: 43
    2016: 52
    2015: 46

Obviously, some of those shows were small. But at least Haymon could get his guys fights. They need to go ahead and fold so that Tank, Benavidez and whoever else is left can sign with someone else.

There’s no big money in boxing in the USA anymore.

After showtime failed their fans said that Al was okay because he's now signed up with Amazon prime. However it hasn't done anything for them.

PBC are finished. You can’t operate a business without many regular non-PPV shows. Top Rank seem to be losing their TV deal too. Matchroom are number 1 in the US now somehow.
