If Vitali was the kind of fighter who plays it safe he would not:

    1. Have taken on Lennox on 13 days notice

    2. Fought the reigning WBC champ after four years of inactivity without a warmup fight. He couldn't possibly know that Peter would show up so badly out of shape.

No, actually Vitali said he wants to fight Haye or Arreola instead of Maskaev. The WBC wants him to fight Oleg...................

    You haters are transparent.

So why not dump the belt instead of hiding behind it?

Before the excuse was that the Klits wouldn't work with Don King. Now Wlad fights King fighters so that excuse is gone. So it's time to the "mandatory" excuse.... despite the fact that he has NEVER bothered fighting a mandatory before. All of a sudden mandatories are SOOO important to him???

    You nuthuggers are so transparent.

And who would want to fight Vitali if he had no belt? He is the fighter with the highest KO ratio in history, and noone ever looked really good against him. If there is no belt as a possible reward, do you think any HW would fight Vitali just for the honor?

You haters are so devoid of any sense of reality.

Is it really worth dumping his title and the claim to be "heavyweight champion of the world" just for a fight with Chris ****ing Arreola or some other fat mug? He might as well keep his title, smack Maskaev around, get payed and wait for something a bit more appealing to come around.

You heard wrong *******. He doesn't want to fight Oleg, everyone knows except you.

When will he fight a young in shape heavyweight? Probably as soon as someone can find one. It's not like there's a bunch of them available.

    lol.

Vitali's forced mandatory and Hayes tie in contract have had so much publicity that anyone with over 5000 posts on this site cannot fail to have come across the facts.

This thread is a wind up

are you limited mentally? he came out of retirement and beat the snot out of the HW Division Savior Sam Peters-you probably picked Peters and still feel 'hurt' by Vitalis dominance. He then beat up his mandatory in Gomez, and is now faced, unfortunately, with fighting maskaheav, a fight only mashkahev seems to want.

Theres no one in the HW division or on the horizon who will beat Vitali.. Sorry son.

I'm confused are you saying Vitali is ducking some fighters?
What does Wlad have to do with this?
    Please clarify.
