Chris Arreola is a slob with a punch....... So what? As soon as Arreola fights a "Live" opponent who can rally, Arreola will be all gased out after round 5........ Is that our future heavyweight champion??? Good Lord.......

there are some good, young, in shape fighters out there: povetkin, dimitrenko, chagaev (kinda), bidenko, virchis.

the problem is, none of these guys have made it to the elite level yet (save for chagaev) and none of them are merketable as nobody knows them outside of europe.

That's a fact............. Hell, even the more seasoned Ruslan Chagaev would struggle to draw flies to a fight of his here in the USA....... Nobody outside of boxing knows these new kids on the scene......

Povetkin is very young and in shape, and he's a boxer/puncher. Boxed the pants off of Eddie Chambers. He was supposed to be next in line for Wlad, but most people think it's probably too soon and he had a nasty foot injury before that fight anyways.. and with Haye running at the mouth, who could turn down that fight just for the money it would make over in Europe?

Note my WBA comment under my name to see my thoughts on the ruling bodies.

Paul Ruby made some very good points on his article on this very same website.

Neven Pajkic doesn't look too awful, and I won't even hold that he's Canadian against him... *grin* - He's kind of an old-school heavyweight that fights around 230 pounds, and while he has a lot of fighting to do before he's ready for the Top-10 Heavyweights, he still looks very promising.

    Just my thoughts..

Well, when there's a young, in shape world class heavyweight for him TO fight, I suspect.

Personally, I want to see him go to town with Dimitrenko or Povetkin.

Don't you read the news? You are completely out of touch in this case!

WBC wants to force Vitaliy into a fight with Maskaev. Vitaliy is taking WBC to court in order to prevent that.

I'd love to see Klit pound Arreola in a WBC title fight...... Forget about Maskaev..... He's done........

You first have to find one. There may be young and prime heavies. But none are in shape outside of the brothers and Haye.

Haye and Povetkin are tied to Wlad.

There are Arreola and Dimitrenko left for Vitali.

I was hoping Vitali would fight Arreola by July, in LA, but that's highly unlikely at this point.

This dragg with Maskaev is really a pain in the ass, maybe Vitali should just take it out of the way at Wlad's undercard next June 20th.
