When is Wilder going to beat a top 5 contender in his prime?

Wilder fought one legit top ten contender in his prime. He drew but really lost. He was behind on the cards vs. Ortiz, who they say is over 40, but listed at 40, only to be bailed out by his power.

How about the winner of Joshua vs Ruiz 2, Usyk, or Hrgovic? In other words real competition?

I doubt it, let's see who's old? Maybe Pulev ( 38 ), or Povetkin ( 40 ) if Povetkin wins his next match makes sense for Wilder.

He won't - he lost to the only Top 5 fighter he's been in against. He won't risk it again.

He won't. Which is why he will be remembered as the ultimate can crusher, and not an ATG

    Joshua, Hrgovic, Parker, Pulev:

    Wilder's worst type of opponents.

    Size, speed, skill.

You need this combination of attributes to take Wilder out.

The moment you mentioned Usky or Hrgovic I know you were clueless. Usyk beat old bum Chazz Witherspoon and who did Hrgovic beat? How are any of them real competition.

But anyway Wilder will always cherry pick and fight the weakest opponents possible.

I'm not going to lie, it was refreshing to see a post like this given the rubbish that is posted day in and day out by the casuals.
    Thank you.

Hardly. Neither Usyk or Hrgovic are old. They are talented boxers, but to understand that you have to watch them.

I find it odd for Wilder fans to question anyone's competition as both would be Wilder's best opponent, aside from Fury.

Nope. Just a puncher who lands. The only one who did was Ortiz who had Wilder holding on an in trouble. Wilder waited for Ortiz to age before taking the fight.

Wilder has modest skills, but a big man who can box and hit will expose him quick, unless he lands the bomb.

What does old have to do with my question? I ask who did Usyk beat at heavyweight? He had one fight at heavy against Chazz Witherspoon. Hrgovic beat who? So how is he talented? Also I am a Wilder fan? Yet I called him a bum? No the thing is you are one of these biased European boxing fans who love to play the European boxers are better than American boxers card. Usyk has proven nothing at heavyweight and Hrgovic has proven even less. On that note I will dismiss you. You aren't worth of typing to me anymore.

Usyk in case you did not know sparred with heavies and bettered them. He's about the same weight as Wilder and cleaned up in a good field of Cruiserweights, who if you must know weigh about 205-212 pounds on fight night, meaning they are official heavyweights using the scales. Usyk is pound for pound talent.

Hrgovic was the best amateur in the very pro like World Series of Boxing and should have won gold in the Olympics if not for bad judging. As a pro, he's a super heavyweight with skills, and a battle-tested chin by punchers who hit it. He's never been floored and has impressed to the point of making the cut for Ring Magazine's rookie of the year.

Usyk is rated in the top ten by Ring Magazine, Hrgovic will soon be there. They are both highly ranked by alphabet groups, and IMO would beat Wilder. So they are ranked for Wilder to take the fight.

    But you exposed yourself.

1 ) Boxing fans know they are top threats, not old men for Wilder pick. Both Usyk or Hrgovic would rate as Wilder's 2nd best opponent going in. Unless you think Oritz at 40, or the other non top ten, modernly hitting people Wilder selected are better.

2 ) Yes they are from Eastern Europe, and by disliking a fan of them, you show your BAIS against them. Pretty easy to see. You're right, no need to go further. 1) You don't know much about these two, 2) You don't like their fans...and probably the fighters themselves. I'm not a big Usyk fan, by the way.

3 ) I'm still asking who Wilder beat. We might agree on that. He's cherry picking and belt milking to a point of historical levels.

I’m 2019, we learned nothing new about Wilder. Hopefully no more rematches with opponents he already beat.

I want to see him fight AJ, Fury, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker etc

I hope/predict AJ/Ruiz winner. Usyk won't take it next fight, but he might after one more win. A shame Povetkin popped his dope test, because that was his shot. I don't blame Wilder for TestPoppin-Povektkin.

I see Wilder struggling aginst a number of top HWs that PBC have been reluctant to allow him to fight.

Wilder has avoided the powerful punchers his all career. Whyte, AJ and Povetkin but they three of most powerful that would certainly rest Wilders chinn as well being more well rounded boxers.

I see Ruiz and Parker hand speed and toughness causing Wilder all sorts of problems.

Whilst the only fighters with decent footwork Wilder has fought have been two chinny fighters in Spzilka and Fury that caused him problems. Which is why i favour Hunter and Usyk against him.

Washington jab caused Wilder problems wihich is why i can see Hrgovic causing him problems.

I see wilder fighting Fury next then Kownacki after that.
