Wilder won't fight a top 5 guy in his prime unless his management/handlers are fairly sure WIlder can win. That's about the size of it. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.

Hit the nail on the head. The US casual community of boxing has been waiting for their saviour.
Deontay is that man. They have marketed him very well given his limitations and financially leveraged off it.

Sadly, we will never get to see the fights that actually determine how good Wilder is. He stepped up once accidentally and lost. I don't believe he will ever do that again.

Personally I will give Wilder full praise when he surprises me and beats one of the following (Beats. No fishy behaviour on the cards like Fury 1 fight)

    1. Ruiz Jr
    2. Usyk
    3. Fury
    4. Parker

I would be less impressed, but full credit if he beats one of the below in a 50/50 fight:

    1. Joshua
    2. Whyte
    3. Chisora
    4. even Povetkin still at this point in his career...

I still think joshua would beat him. Ortiz made him gunshy. Joshua with about 35 lbls on him will make him more so. Wilder learned against fury that weight difference is hard work to fight against.

He barely threw the right against ortiz....joshua has a better arsenal than ortiz. In terms of he can hurt you more.

Joshua just has big problems against ruiz,s type of style. Wierd thing is wilder would probably beat ruiz as well.

    Are you high?

The Bodybuilder has no chin no stamina and is stiff as a board plus he quit in his last fight. Undeniable fact. trading with Wilder will get him ko'ed and boxing will get him ko;ed because of his shid gas tank...he will mentally crumble when he enters the Ring,,FYI , his confidence is totally shot.......AJ is TAILERMADE for Wilder, a career ending KO for Wilder

IF Ruiz shows up in the same state of mind, physically and mentally the Bodybuilder will crumble again......this fight is Ruiz's to loose not AJ's to win.

For Mendizzy......did Wilder ever get stopped by a trial horse in Purrity......walked down by a Heavy bag in Brewster and Ko'ed.....getting iced by a ***ging retired Golfer......please advise......all the above were D and C level.

Chances of that are not with Wilder so that fight happening are slim so his team knows what to choose if he gets by Fury which is also against him slightly . Hrgovic has about a 60% chance winning that fight and on that fight not regarding other fights that have zero to do with that one.

Wilder is a protected fraud, Jeff Lacey had more talent in his finger than Wilder has in his entire body. It’s ridiculous how people cant see it.

Wilder spent that fight at the weekend....hesitant to throw against a 40 year old ortiz. Who gave away height, length and speed. If ortiz is making him gunshy....he,ll be even more gunshy against joshua. Wilders a coward at heart....he isnt saving punches as part of a gameplan. Hes saving them cause hes scared to get hit.

I,ll be surprised if he even lets the right hand go against joshua. Think people will be surprised in that fight. 30 lbs is a big difference especially when the guys the same height/length etc.

Ruiz could well beat joshua again....he has the style for it.

Actually Usky has a good chin. He's out bo Wilder, possibly stopping him. Or Wider can be down 9 rounds to 2 and land a bomb.

Make the match for credibilities sake.

    Edit.

Actually if Ruiz beats AJ again... I think Wilder vs Ruiz is very realistic.

Both Potvekin & Whyte popped dirty did they not? Both were mandatory challengers for Wilder's belt so who's fault is it that Wilder didnt face them?

I'd rather see that than a Fury fight, I'd rather hang wall paper than watch a Fury fight
