If Wilder knocked out Usyk next, haters here would say Usyk wasn't ranked in the top 10 at heavyweight by Ring and his best days were at cruiserweight, so there's another unranked guy Wilder beat.

If Wilder knocked out Michael Hunter next, haters on here would say Hunter isn't ranked in the top 10 at heavyweight by Ring and his best days were at cruiserweight, so there's another unranked guy Wilder beat.

If Wilder fought Filip Hrgovic or Joe Joyce next, and knocked them out, people would say Hrgovic and Joyce aren't ranked in the top 10 at heavyweight by Ring so there are two other unranked guys Wilder beat.

That's what people do around here. They get off on it, apparently.

And everyone in the Ring top 10 has lost or been stopped - Joshua, Ruiz, Parker, Whyte, Povetkin, Pulev, etc. - except for Tyson Fury and Adam Kownacki. And people spent days and weeks bashing Wilder for signing to fight Fury and ridiculing him for not stopping Fury after he had him down twice. And can't wait to label Fury a 300-pound drug addict, even though was nothing of the sort when the fight actually occured.

And any time a Kownacki fight is mentioned, it's scoffed at too.

Luis Ortiz was ranked highly by Ring and the WBC and Wilder knocked him out twice, and people here have spent two years insisting Ortiz is 60 years old and Wilder shouldn't have fought him.

Wilder should just spend the rest of his career like he's been doing. He's the WBC champ. Fight WBC challengers. Unifiy if the opportunity presents itself. Rack up KO wins. Let the historians sort it out when his career is over.

Because, while he's fighting, there are always going to dolts who bash him for fighting anyone.

Also ,Usyk deserves a title shot after obliterating the great Chazz Witherspoon.
Maybe Hrgovic can follow in Usyks footsteps by facing a worthy challenger such as Whitherspoon to earn his title shot.

Usyk is taller than Ortiz. I doubt Haymon let's Usyk any where near Wilder.

Not so. If he beat Usyk he would have his best win over a ranked contender in his prime.

Ortiz was old in their first fight and outboxing him at age 40 something in the second fight.
