The guy hasnt had a really tough fight in a while now but hes not rushing out there to fight? on the other hand his brother is wasting no time at all and is fighitng the two americnas in his Division within 4 months. That why i think alot of people don t like wlad. He wasted 6 month( could of fough in march) then fights a bum like chagaev and does nothing for another 6 months. He should start cleanig out the divison like a champ but as of right now is mantatorys r making fights to keep active, while he enjoy all of money for beating bums like Rahman, Ibragimov, chagaev( not a bum just a shot , boring fighter) and thompson and also got his pay day and hasnt fough since.

People wonder whats wrong with the HWD and when u have a guy sit on his ass and probally fight once 12-14 months(2009-2010) and his perfectly heathily.

That is just my thought on it and there probally alot of spelling eras( its early) i love boxing but i cant stand top guy sitting around doing nothing, counting there money. Champs should be out there to crush the HWD and make fights with chambers ., solis , boytsov, Povitkic( cant spell) tua. etc.. we need more from Wlad whats do u guys think. we all know he had shoulder surgery but it wasnt anything crazy. takes a month to heal, with all of his money and connections

and we all know he was tie of with this haye bull ****. after christmas he should of fought him in march not giving haye bogus contracts etc.. real champ would of fough him in march or fough somebody else !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate how so many fighters who are considered the top fighters are so inactive. Obviously alot has to be done to promote fights but it really pisses me off. Boxing will never go back to how it was because of it (e.g. when fighters like Robinson, JCC, Duran) kept very active because of all the promotion to rake in the most ££££ from it.

you are both morons, vlad had a shoulder surgery, so he can't fight. and whos fault was it that vlad could not fight in march??? HAYE!!! this year vlad had only one fight, but 2010 he will beat the **** out of chambers and povetkin, and after that there is only haye, who has to fight the wba mandatories till he dies

A chunk of that delay was Hayes fault ( and I'm a big Haye fan ! ) I guess its whoever his mandos are next ( Chambers of Povetkin I suppose ) as you say its more complicated than the guy not wanting to fight.

I'll criticize Wlad Klitshckos style all day long but to say he is lazy or avoiding fighters is just plain wrong.

    +1.

To haggle with Haye must be a pain - he dropped out of finished contracts more than once.

And Wlad's surgery prevented any fight before March 2010. If you look at the record, Wlad fought 2-3 bouts each year this decade, except for 2009. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=7035&cat=boxer
That's not better or worse than most HW champs of the 1980s-2000s.

David Gaye delayed him alot. Later on Wladimir was injured. Wladimir will be back in the ring soon. He will take care of Chambers. However, I believe that KlitschKOs should slow dowm for awhile. They have been cleaning up the division so that Gaye can fight Ruiz and Meehan. Why Gaye does not fight someone for real?

Dude loves his belts ! He took a chance on haye and got let down , he's unliukley to take that chance again. I'm sure he'll fight Povetkin and Chambers next year ( two fights a year is sadly standard for all championship fighters these days ) and with a bit of luck Haye will have cleared the WBA mire and 2011 will see them finally get it on.

I dont know that the Rahman fight is on , but I could be wrong

I really really really dont want to get into this but Haye only pulled out of one signed fight , Ther Vitali fight was only talked about.

But yeah fair play to Wlad he was let down and it wasnt his fault

In Dec 2008, Wlad was supposed to fight Povetkin -who caught the flu and was replaced a few days before the fight by an old shot Rahman. Wlad had an relaxed evening (TKO7).

I've seen the press conference when Wlad got the news of Haye's back injury. THAT face told me he wanted to fight Haye BADLY. And after Haye pulled out of the contract with Vitali, I doubt he'll get another offer from the K's soon.

Haye HAD his chances, and if he had defeated one of the brothers, he would have been seen as the new boxing jesus. Remember the hype for Rahman, when he won vs. LL? That single fight carried his carreer for more than a decade. And Haye would do better than Hasim Rahman, I'll bet.
