Personally I find your use of the word bum to be repulsive and you don't seem to keep up on exactly what's going on, yet you have an opinion on it.

He's not perfectly healthy, he's had surgery, is recovering and is looking to fight one of his mandatories, probably Eddie Chambers, in March/April last I heard.

he has had a muscle injury for AGES, and was willing to fight Haye even whilst injured, that meant he couldn't use his left hook I believe? Give the guy a break.

he had surgery on his shoulder hence why he hasn't fought in a while and also why would their even be a rush for him to jump right back until it is completely health because there is NO ONE out there right now who is even stepping up or making a name for themselves.

yeah and thats unbelievble. at the end of his carreer he will have 60 wins about 50 knockouts, 20 or more world title fights, olympic gold medalist.
i don't get the people who all complain about wlad, when was the last time that we had such a dominant champion, who even don't get hit in his fights. that is called total domination!:deal
after he retires there will be again, three world champions changing every two years
so be happy right now, even if he is sometimes boring

I always advocated that Wlad should fight a lot more. Since there seems to be no real challenge out there, he could as well take on all comers and clean out the division - or his career won't look that good in ten years. His brother Vitali seems to have understood that now, he's active and that's a good thing.

To be fair to Wlad, he suffered an injury and many months were spent negociating with Haye, who then chose to take an easier path after all..

Just to add, I read Manny Steward say Wlad picked up a tendon injury on his biceps in training for Haye, it seems it had something to do with his shoulder too bc Wlad said he had shoulder surgery in july on his interview for the radio show ON THE ROPES.

Wlad said in the show that he would be fit to fight only in December but was eyeing a march date with Chambers, HBO's focal point of interest.

By the look of it HBO saved a march date for Wlad but it's not a guaranteed thing bc Wlad has to get an extension on his IBF mandatory against Povetkin first, otherwise they would have announced the fight already.

Can't see Povetkin going for Peter in an interim belt fight and jeopardizing such a big payday, he will wait for sure.

I'm guessing Wlad takes Chambers in march and then Povetkin in june/july, having a third date on the year to make up for 2009.
