No, but he is a DDR-Amateur-Trainer. Nothing else. Not in the professional lega like Emanuel Steward and other coaches from the USA.

Sdunek is a DDR Style Trainer. The Ukraine and Russian had very good Amateur-Trainers. Wlad won Olympic gold and his coach was Wladimir Zolotarew. He trained with him the first two years as a professional. Wladimir moves very well with good foot work.

Than Sdunek changes his style and that was very bad for Wladimir. He built up more muscles and boxes without footwork etc.

With Emanuel he changes his style and boxes like he learned in the Ukraine, with some new professional elements.

 

Interesting history lesson on Wlad. I saw Wlad fight in the Olympics
years ago and noticed that he was very mobile for such a big man.
He had fast hands and used a lot of lateral movement to avoid punches. I always wondered what happened to that versatile
boxer-puncher after he turned pro and started going all offense.
